Do you want to know about the nuts and bolts of trains, or at least the tracks and other facilities they use? The Museum is offering a series of presentations on the civil engineering aspects of railroads. Each session begins at 3:00 p.m. and lasts about an hour, and is included with museum admission. The content is an abbreviated version of a class to be offered next year in Cal Poly’s Civil Engineering program. Attendees are not required to do calculations, but they can if they want to just for fun. Note Tracks 101 will not be offered October 14th, 2017.
